Things I do that people find odd #3402
I read while walking.
And not just in the cliche of cramming for tests or what have you.
I actually go for walks with a book.
Legit.
An accurate representation. Elizabeth Bennett is my 19th century spirit.

2:30 a.m. and I have work in 6 hours.
And yet, I’m still sitting here cruising through season 3 of The Office.
No regrets.

I've spent the majority of the day drawing sigils...
Day well spent.
*btw, I’ll probably scan them in later, but be warned, I’m a pretty sucky artist (in terms of drawing)*

seafortress asked: it all comes down to in which manner I want my heart broken, really. I get attached to inanimate things rather severely. (Also, hi, how are you, how's that novel coming along? No pressure, but when will the internet get to read a sample?) xD
muchadoaboutcassie asked: How are your college projects going?
seafortress asked: America: where it costs 80$ to fill up your car, but only 20 for the complete works of Shakespeare. At least we're doing something right

I feel as if I need to purchase some vlogbrothers...
Sure I am a nerdfighter, but somewhere deep in my being I wish to dance to flaunt my nerdfighter id card to the world.
So I’m thinking the ‘Keep Calm & DFTBA’ shirt, the ‘We’re the Exception’ Mongols Crash Course shirt, and a ‘This Star Won’t Go Out’ Bracelet.
Sounds like a plan Stan (Ha, is funny because Stan works on Crash Course and...

So the Barnes & Noble trip went okay.
I was able to buy some more of the splendid Roma Sub Rosa series by Steven Saylor, bringing my total now up to 6.
Also bought Thomas Moore’s Utopia, andthe Communist Manifesto.
Sadly, the only John Green they had though was Looking for Alaska and The Fault in Our Stars (which I already have). It looks as if my search for An Abundance of Katherines and Will Grayson, Will Grayson will have...

lyingaboutthepanthers replied to your post: I am planning a trip to Barnes & Noble tomorrow before class.
People will look at you funny for the Communist Manifesto, or maybe that was just me because I also bought it with some children’s picture books and some gnostic texts…… anyways it’s an interesting read.
I figure the looks will come. I’M SORRY I WANT TO EDUCATE MYSELF.
Of course...

I am planning a trip to Barnes & Noble tomorrow...
I’ll be looking for the following:
The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx & Friedrich Engels
An Abundance of Katherines by John Green
Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green & David Levithan
The remaining Roma Sub Rosa books that I don’t have (not a book title by the way) by Steven Saylor
Some Shakespeare if I have some extra money or can’t find the former
Thoughts?...

amandanoelle11 asked: Season 6 :)
muchadoaboutcassie asked: That actually sounds really interesting! As a fellow history lover (though I tend towards the modern era) I'd love to read your chapters. If you're comfortable with that, of course. Good luck with your writing! I hope to see you back here more regularly once semester is done :) And once I finish ADWD, which should be next week, you must temporarily abandon your hermit habits and Skype...

I apologize for the lack of quality posts lately…or posting at all come to think of it. The semester is winding down, and I’m quite swamped with a project for my Honors Colloquy class. The concept is to create something from nothing (scientifically impossible, but stay with me), that is, to create something that doesn’t exist as is in the world. Examples of such a project could...

Well I just finished Mockingjay.
I definitely felt all of the emotions. Bravo Suzanne Collins. Bravo.
But I’ve come to the point where I have finished an amazing series and I feel quite empty inside. Given the ending to Mockingjay, which I won’t spoil, I just don’t know how to move on (so to speak).
I think I’m in need of a nice, long walk.
seafortress asked: does 4 weeks signal the end of a semester or some other college-term-thing? also yes college ugh I have five days until I hear back from NYU & then from there one month to decide where I want to spend the next four years of my life and it is figuratively killing me
