They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
I see more and more church-going folk acting this way. (Myself included on occasions)
Pray for them. Pray for us. Pray for the world to know and love God and what He has done each and every day for his people.
I know in my heart that if the world honestly knew what God has done for them, there wouldn’t be pretend believers, or just believers in general.
All there would be, is lovers of God that thank Him each and every day for what He has done, and what He has yet to do.
I pray to see that world someday. Whether in my lifetime, or after I’m gone. I pray that that is the world’s future.
I pray that Titus 1:16 will become a distant memory.

I love Francis Chan - I went to IYC last summer (int'l youth convention) and he spoke there one night. So powerful, I was bawling my eyes out. I love learning about the ancient cities/civilizations in world history, it's so fascinating. I'll check out the other f. chan book too, thanks! :) Since you enjoy harry potter I think you'd get a kick out of the gospel one I mentioned before, I've only read a little bit of it but it's super cool.

I have the Illiad & The Odyssey! - we read part of the Odyssey last year in lit and I loved it. All my friends make fun of me for it though. I love all that stuff + greek mythology. I want a bunch of the classics too, and some copies of books that I've borrowed from people but want my own (Crazy Love, Looking for Alaska, the Gospel according to Harry Potter).
Oh yeah. The Ancient Mediterranean is my bread & butter. (Rome & Egypt) Greece is right up there too.
Crazy Love is sooooo goooood!! I’ve read it 3 times! “Forgotten God” by Francis Chan is amazing too, I highly recommend that one too.

I’m am absolutely terrified of the movie “It”. I refuse to watch it no matter what. Pennywise is just the worst. I’ve seen it 3 times growing up, & boy it just gives me shivers.

In Deathly Hallows when Ron & Hermione are playing the piano, the song they play is from “It”, & I recognized it immediately. I feel I would have liked that scene a lot more if it wasn’t for the gosh-awful song.

Deathly Hallows
OMY HARRY POTTER WAS SO AMAZING!!! Yeah I teared up at the end, big whoop!! PLUS, Chris & I happened to have a great group. The theatre wasn’t filled w/ screaming fan girls or people talking through the whole film. Silence at the right times, laughter at the funny times. It was great!!
I’m definitely seeing it again in the not to distant future!!! :D :D :D
